The 2008 Oklahoma Envirothon will be held April 7-9.  The Competition will take place at Camp Y'Shua near Mears, Oklahoma.  The competition will consist of Field Tests and an Oral Presentation. 

The Field Tests will be administered at 4 field stations:  Aquatic Ecology, Forestry, Soils/Land Use and Wildlife

The test at each station will consist of multiple choice, fill in the blank and short answer questions.  The questions will cover the subject area (i.e. Aquatic ecology, Forestry, Soils/Land Use, Wildlife) as well as the Current Issue as it relates to the respective subject area.

The Oral Presentation will consist of a 10 minute presentation on a current issue to be announced.  All teams will be given resource materials and a limited amount of time to prepare their presentations.  Teams will be randomly assigned a time to deliver their presentations.
