The 2012 Oklahoma Envirothon is scheduled for April 3, 2012.  The Competition will take place at the OSU Botanic Gardens in Stillwater, Oklahoma .  The competition will consist of Field Tests and an Oral Presentation.

This year's competition will be a 1 day contest.  The following is the tentative agenda:  7:30am Registration,  8:30am Orientation, 9:00am Field Tests Round 1, 10:00am Field Tests Round 2, 11:00am Field Tests Round 3, 12:00pm Field Tests Round 4, 1:00pm Lunch, 1:30pm Draw for presentation orders, 2:00pm Oral presentations, 5:30pm Awards presentations. 

The Field Tests will be administered at 4 field stations:  Aquatic Ecology, Forestry, Soils/Land Use and Wildlife

The test at each station will consist of multiple choice, fill in the blank and short answer questions.  The questions will cover the subject area (i.e. Aquatic ecology, Forestry, Soils/Land Use, Wildlife) as well as the Current Issue as it relates to the respective subject area.

The Oral Presentation will consist of a 10 minute presentation on a current issue to be announced.  The problem statement for the Oral Presentation portion of the competition will be distributed to all registered teams 3-4 weeks before the competition date.
